This interactive workshop provided competition officials worldwide with an opportunity to explore what behavioural economics (BE) can teach us about the influence of consumer biases on decision-making and market dynamics, and how competition authorities can leverage BE in their own work. Through exploring various cases studies, participants shared experiences and gain practical insights on the relevance, timing, and application of BE to competition policy, including challenges and opportunities in their own contexts.
