OECD/ICMA Webinar on regulatory frameworks and trends in the corporate bond market

This webinar explored key developments in corporate bond markets as analysed in the OECD policy paper "Regulatory frameworks and trends in the corporate bond market", including the surge in corporate bond issuance since the global financial crisis, particularly in emerging markets.

 

Experts highlighted regulatory challenges and policy implications related to directors' fiduciary duties, bond issuance decisions, disclosure requirements, bondholder rights, the role of trustees and out-of-court debt restructuring.

 

The webinar was co-organised by the OECD and International Capital Market Association and brought together a panel of experts including:
