The OECD will release the Global Debt Report 2025: Financing growth in a challenging debt market environment, including full-year data for 2024 and insights into drivers of global borrowing, on Thursday 20 March, starting at 11:00 CET (10:00 GMT).
OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and OECD Director for Financial and Enterprise Affairs Carmine Di Noia will present the report, including key findings on:
- the sovereign borrowing outlook;
- recent trends in corporate bond markets;
- sovereign borrowing in emerging markets and developing economies; and
- the role of debt markets in financing the climate transition.
