The Network of Professionals in Infrastructure Delivery at the OECD connects public agencies and State-Owned Enterprises engaged in planning, procurement, delivery, and asset management of infrastructure projects. By bridging the gap between policy design and implementation, the network ensures that high-level policymakers are informed of on-the-ground challenges. Through fostering evidence-based dialogue, it strengthens infrastructure governance across OECD member countries.
The objective of the network is to keep the high-level policy makers aware about the challenges at the policy implementation level. The network brings evidence-based work on the needs and challenges faced by those involved in Infrastructure Delivery to the high-level policy makers.
The network operates under and enriches the work of the OECD’s Senior Infrastructure and PPP Officials Network (SIP). Under the leadership of the Public Governance Committee, the SIP represents the interests and needs of the 38 member countries in the space of infrastructure governance.
The network offers members opportunities for peer-learning and access to cutting-edge research on key infrastructure delivery issues. Even the most advanced countries in the OECD face challenges such as lengthy permitting processes, cost control, and meeting increasing sustainability targets. The Network supports these efforts, promoting a transition towards more sustainable and resilient infrastructure, aligned with OECD’s broader work on infrastructure governance.
Public agencies and State-Owned Enterprises involved in infrastructure planning, procurement, and asset management are invited to join the IPP-P. If you are interested, please reach out to govinfoipp@oecd.org to discuss. The Network is funded by the voluntary contributions of its participants on an annual basis.
