The OECD, together with the EBRD, participated in the Regional Green Economy Forum 2024, “GREEN ECONOMY – 2024”: Green Development of Central Asia held on 23-24 October 2024 in Bishkek, the Kyrgyzstan.
The OECD presentation highlighted several areas where the Water, Energy and Land-use Nexus project can further collaborate with the countries of Central Asia and businesses, as well as their development partners:
- Engaging the private sector in climate resilience through a water, energy and land-use nexus approach in Central Asia.
- Sharing agribusiness case studies based on the EBRD Agrifood Nexus programme operated under the Water, Energy and Land-use Nexus project in Central Asia.
- Promoting the greening of small- and medium-sized enterprises in Central Asia.
- Advancing green and sustainable finance in the region.
