The OECD Istanbul Centre is a global hub for policy dialogue and horizontal collaboration between OECD partner countries and regional programmes across Eurasia, Latin America and the Caribbean, Middle East and North Africa, South East Europe and Southeast Asia.
Under the overarching themes of trade and investment, the Centre addresses transversal, global policy issues including:
- Climate change
- Gender equality
- Business climate
- Private sector development and enterprise skills
- Connectivity and infrastructure
- Statistics
- Responsible business conduct
The Centre supports the dissemination of OECD standards and analyses across these policy areas while encouraging greater co-operation among partner countries and regions, as well as with regional and international organisations.
